Africa 2012 Map

I spent the summer of 2012 wandering around Africa in an overland truck. We camped out for almost two months, living in tents and eating camp food. Showers were taken less often than I would have liked, but at some point we stopped caring. This is a map of where the truck went. I heard that we covered over 9,000 kilometers. That would be over 5,000 miles if it was correct. It was an interesting trip, to say the least. I had never been to sub-Sahara Africa before. I have now been there. At the end of the trip I stayed in Cape Town to acclimate myself to civilization again. I also stopped off in Dubai for a visit on my way back. Ramadan in 115 degree heat is… well… special.
