I’m into unique experiences. You might even say that I’m more interested in accumulating experiences than I ever was in accumulating dollars. But I don’t consider myself some sort of experience junkie. I don’t have a desire to skydive, bungee jump, deep sea dive, visit the North Pole, find the headwaters of the Amazon, or wander around Borneo in search of shrunken heads. I just like to see new things. I just like to have new experiences. When I travel I find myself in new environments and I really enjoy it. It stimulates me. When I go to Balloon Fiesta it’s not something that I haven’t done before but I really enjoy going to Albuquerque and Balloon Fiesta is one of the most unique events in the world. Someday I’d like to be a part of a balloon crew for a day. I’d even consider going up in a balloon. It’s not something that’s on my bucket list, but it is something I’d do. What I like about Balloon Fiesta is seeing 100-200 balloons in the air at the same time. What percentage of the world’s population have ever seen 200 hot air balloons in the air at the same time? A tiny sliver and that’s too bad. It’s really an amazing sight.
