Brasov is a tourist town. One thing that makes it so is the Council House. The Council House is located in Council Square. It’s the main square of Brasov and it seems to be a happening place. The significance of the Council House, as well as many of the other buildings in the city is the number on the front of the building. On the Council House the number is 1420.This means that the building was built in 1420. Not this building, of course. It means the original building dates from 1420. There’s really no telling how many times this building has burnt down or been ransacked by marauding invaders. The point here is that the buildings in the Council Square are old. Really old by American Standards.
