Fix My Bag

I bought a brand new bag for the trip and I had been out on the road for a total of two weeks before it developed a big rip in it. So, I went wandering around the neighborhood with a statement written in Chinese that said I was looking for someone to fix my bag. I found someone. He took out this sewing machine and places it on the sidewalk with a stool and fixed my bag. For about 50 cents. Plus, we had a nice conversation. He kept talking to me in Chinese and I kept telling him "I have no idea what you’re saying.", but we were both smiling having a good time and all his neighbors walked by and noticed and must have thought he was having a strange conversation with the strange-looking foreigner.
