Iguazu Falls

Well, it seems like it’s starting. I’ve spent way-too-much time around the house. I’m starting to feel my feet itch. I’m starting to write on my blog again which probably means that I’ll be leaving sometime in the next year for a few months on the road. I’m starting to look at places where I have not been that are on the list of best sights to see in the world. Up at the top is Iguazu Falls, one of the three major waterfalls of the world. It’s remote. But so is Victoria Falls. Plus, it’s a lot cheaper to get to South America and back than to Africa. Plus, transportation and lodging is easier to come by in South American than in Africa. What else is near there? In Rio you’ve got the Carnival, the Panoramic Views, the Copacabana and Ipanema Beaches, the Niteroi Contemporary Museum of Art, Sugar Loaf Mountain and the Christ the Redeemer statue. I could wander around Paraguay a bit and then head to Buenos Aries and then to Montevideo. I could wander around the Pampas a bit before catching a cheap overnight bus to Santiago, Chile. I’m starting to get some ideas.
