I’m in Arizona. I ask the locals what there is to see. Everyone says Mount Lemmon. I’m thinking, okay, I’ll go. So I take the drive up Mount Lemmon starting at Tucson and ending up at the Mount Lemmon Post Office. So what’s the point of the picture on the left? It’s proof. Proof that I drove all the way up Mount Lemmon. Okay, I guess it really doesn’t prove that I drove, but I did. It takes a long time to drive up Mount Lemmon. The main reason is that you will be stopping all the time to ooooohhhhh and aaaaaahhhh. It’s your basic Mount Lemmon slowdown. No one really wants to get out of the car all the time and take pictures. It’s just so darn tempting. What is up at the top of Mount Lemmon? A ski area. Imagine 115 degrees in the summer and a ski resort in the winter. Strange. Very strange. Also, not the picture on the right. Another instance of government failure to provide services. According to the signs at the center, it should have been open. I’m starting to become uncomfortable with government services, or rather the lack of them, as the budget continues to get larger. Again, strange. Very strange economics.
