OKC Map

Sometimes, I go home. I just sit around the house. I watch TV. I drink a little beer. I go out and eat with Ethel at some of the local restaurants in OKC. This is a map of Oklahoma City. While OKC is 32nd in poulation it’s in the top two as far as size by land area is concerned. Also, notice what a nice, neat grid pattern exists in the city. This is because the U.S. government came in and ‘sectioned’ all of the land prior to the Run of 1889, when they took some more of the land from the Native Americans. Each one of the nice square sections on the map is a mile square – 640 acres.
