Sloth – Monteverde, Costa Rica

We were sitting in a restaurant having dinner and there was a big commotion and everyone came out to the outside terrace where we were eating to see this sloth coming down a tree ten feet from our table. Yeah, it was cool, but I’m telling you that you wouldn’t want to pet this thing until it bathed and that might take a few hours at the rate it moved.
