Narrowest Street Brasov Romania
This street is billed as the Narrowest Street in the World. Okay, maybe it’s only the Narrowest Street in Europe. For sure it has to be the narrowest street in Brasov, Romania where it is to be found. Was it narrow? Yes. The rule was that it was wide enough for a man carrying two buckets of water. If I’m not mistaken, the street was built as a connecting street between two other streets so that people could get water to an area if there was a fire. Streets get built for the strangest of reasons. I think they had a lot of fires in Brasov at one time, as in the whole city burned down. Anway, having the narrowest street in the world makes for good tourist material.
Council House Brasov Romania
