Waheem in Coptic Cairo
My tour guide, Waheem. Very nice guy. Very informative.

George and Inez
George was the driver. Inez was the guide. I rented a car, a driver and guide for a day in Cairo. George and Inez were buddies. They worked with each other quite often. George was a madman behind the wheel. Inez had her degree in Egyptology and worked in the government doing research when she wasn’t guiding. If you ever get to meet two nicer people, consider yourself blessed.
Me with Date Trees
There were some really good-looking groves of date trees outside of Cairo. Little bits of paradise, I’d say.
Me at Pyramids

Egypt is on my Top 10 list. Not Cairo, not the Pyramids, not the desert. Egypt. Give yourself a month, at least. It’s cheap. It’s historical. It’s Arabic. But, most of all, it’s unique.
