George and Inez

George was the driver. Inez was the guide. I rented a car, a driver and guide for a day in Cairo. George and Inez were buddies. They worked with each other quite often. George was a madman behind the wheel. Inez had her degree in Egyptology and worked in the government doing research when she wasn’t guiding. If you ever get to meet two nicer people, consider yourself blessed.

I’ve seen some really, really good shots that people were taking at the Pyramids. Mine were OK. They made the point. There are places to visit and there are places to visit. Egypt is on my Top 10 list. Not Cairo, not the Pyramids, not the desert. Egypt. Give yourself a month, at least. It’s cheap. It’s historical. It’s Arabic. But, most of all, it’s unique.
