I went to Cedar Key, FL often with my folks as a child. They like to go there and to a little place near there called Steinhatchee, FL. These are two of the closest towns to the location where the Suwannee River empties into the Gulf of Mexico. I can remember boating on the river on many occasions as a youngster. Today, the area looks nothing like it did when I was young. 01/2007

She’s Smiling Because Someone Else Mows the Yard
My wife mows the yard at home. Sometimes. My son mows it every once-in-a-while. My yard is small. The building behind Ethels is the United States Capitol. The yard is overwhelming. The Capitol Visitor Center is open 8:30 – 4:30 Mon – Sat except for a few holidays. U.S. Representative or Senators can book tours and many offices have their own staff-led tours. Tours can also be booked over the internet. 10/2007

Ethel Working
The house I live in now was redone by me and several people I hired to help me. I can’t do plumbing or electrical work. I can do lots of other things. I took the interior down to the studs and replaced all of the windows and doors and the interior. It took awhile. Here we see Ethel in a somewhat classical pose. She’s sweeping up trash. 12/2006
Ethel at Gino’s and Bisquit World
While we were in West Virginaia we discovered Gino’s and Bisquit World. It’s almost worth the trouble of moving to West Virginia to be near one. 10/2007
