Cafe Du Mond Espresso

The metallic object on the right is my espresso maker. I don’t drink espresso every morning when I’m home, but I drink it often. My favorite place to obtain a cup isn’t at home, it’s at a little French bakery down the street. Their ham and cheese croissants are also worthy of mention. The best espresso I’ve ever had was at a little coffee bar at the airport in Miami, FL. The coffee cup besides the espresso maker is one I got at the Cafe Du Mond, which is located in the French Quarter in New Orleans. I would have to say that the Cafe Du Mond is one of my three favorite places in the whole wide world to have breakfast. That’s why I use their coffee cup.

Gabriella

This is Gabriella. She was my newest relative at the time this picture was taken. She is my third cousin. She is really cute, and from all appearances, really smart. I met her for the first time when I was visiting my cousin at her house.

Taco Mayo

This is me at Taco Mayo. I started going to Taco May when they put the first one in down the street from my house in 1978. Today they have somewhere around 100 stores and are located in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Texas. The store where I’m standing is, officially, Store #1, although it’s not located in the original spot where it was when the chain started. By the way, I’ve thought about working there, just for the chance to get a super burrito whenever I wanted one.

Me – Medieval Fair

That’s me. I’m at the Medieval Fair. I’ve been going to these things, off and on, for about thirty years. It’s gotten quite large. They’ve had to relocate three times due to expansion issues.

Thomas Has Bunny Ears

This is my daughter, my granddaughter and my son-in-law. He has bunny ears. We were having dinner. I do this when I’m home.

Cellar Wine and Spirits

This is my favorite ligqour store in Oklahoma. The reason why is that they stock several hundred beers and the store has a section where I can buy a single can and try out new beers without having to buy several cans or bottles of a single beer at one time. This makes it convenient for me to try new beers without depleting my life’s savings.

SA Shopper

What do two people do when they have a day off? I like to go crusin’ the thrift stores. Soemone else’s junk may well be my treasure. I always find a good book or two. Sometimes I find something I can actually use.
