One of the coffee shops that are set up to sell stuff to hikers going up Mt Sinai. Everything was 10 Epyptian Pounds – a little less than $2.
Notice how everyone was bundled-up. Quite cool.
Guess who? Guess where?
One of the guys who walked up Mt. Sinai with me. Chris was a life-saver. He kep on telling "Just another few miles" as he walked with me at the rear of the group walking up the mountain. I believe he was an Aussie or a Kiwi who had just finished his graduate studies and was going to London for a job. I think he said it was going to take him 6 months to get there. Long walk.

This is the only sanitary facility I could find at the top of Mt Sinai. I got lucky. I didn’t need to use it.
Yes, that’s me and my trusty steed. Yes, that’s an Arab in the background. Yes, those are palm trees. Yes, Iam at an oasis in the Sinai Peninsular.

People on top of Mt Sina after sunrise. Chris is in the middle and, no, I don’t think he’s flipping me off.
Yes, I am exalting my environs. How often do I get to do some really cool trekking in a really cool place like the Sinai? Not often enough.
