The Sky Bridge is a fee visit. You have to be there before the ticket office opens to be sure and get a tour time. They limit the number of people who can visit each day. I’m not sure of the number. I got there a half-an-hour before the ticket window opened and there were ab out 100 people ahead of me. I did get a ticket. The views from the 41st floor are really good.

Petronis Towers – Twilight
They turn the lights on at dusk. It really makes the towers look nice.
KL – World’s Tallest Flagpole
Somewhere, I read that it’s the world’s tallest flagpole at 100 meters. It’s located at Merdeka Square, the traditional Heart of Kuala Lumpur. The field where it flies is where the British used to play polo in the colonial era. Today, it’s a tourist sight and the flag flying is one that symbolizes the struggle for Malaysian independence.
KL Hop On Hop Off
It’s my very favorite kind of bus – the hop-on-hop-off variety. It cost me about $10 for a 24-hour day. I considered it a bargain until I waited for over an hour for one to show up at the Sentral Station. Then I wasn’t so sure. Whatever the case, I’ll probably do one more day of the tour before I leave the city on this trip.
KL Transient
So you didn’t know that Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has transients? Well, it does. But, not a lot, actually. Or, if it does, they aren’t sleeping in my neighborhood. Or, it hey are in my neighborhood, they hide well. I’ve seen transients all over Asia, just like in the states. But, I don’t think they are condoned quite as readily as they are in America. In America, there appears to be an actual culture of homeless people. I don’t think that’s the case in Asia.
KL Fruit Stand
This is the fruit stand in KL where I discovered jackfruit. I could go there and buy a bag of pineapple, apple, pear, papaya, mango, passion fruit, and a whole ot of other fruits for a bout a quarter. I went there more than once a day.
