Flights: The flight in from Cairns is a little expensive @ $169-179 U.S. on Jetstar. Kayak had the same flight (March 2) for $145. However the flight out to Yogyakarta is very cheap @ $36 U.S. on Air Asia. DPS is surprisingly sleep-friendly.

Transfers: Some say a taxi from the airport to the Hard Rock is under $5. 5.00 USD = 65,850.00 IDR.

Hostels: You want to stay near Poppies I & II. Therefore to search hostels search for Kuta. The Hard Rock is on Jalan Pantai Kuta. Of the 100 hostels on Bali, 70% are located in Kuta. Kuta hostels HostelBookers & HostelWorld. Hostels are cheap – most under $12 U.S.
