If I’m not mistaken, this is simply the biggest box of corn flakes that I have ever seen. Well, at least that was my first impression. What I came to find out is that this size box of cereal is quite common in Africa. Was the cereal good? It was great. That’s because I didn’t have a fast food joint on every corner or every other corner as I drove down the street. In Karen, Kenya your fast food options are nonexistent. Some people might think that’s a good thing. They, obviously, haven’t been to Karen, Kenya. My official position on fast food is that it’s better to have it available and not use it or use it reasonably than to not have it at all. In basic free market economics, restaurants close when no one frequents them and flourish when they do a thriving business. I like that concept. Do I have to eat there?
