DrTea

It was the famous office of Dr Tea. Actually, I’m not sure how famous Dr Tea really is. The tour guide said that this was the foremost authority on tea in the world. This type of statement always makes me suspicious. What I do know is that it was one of our two commercial stops on the tour. This was the morning stop. The object was for the tour company to bring a bunch of tourists to the tea store to buy things under the pretense of participating in a “real Chinese tea ceremony.” What it did was to take away from my real purpose for taking this tour, but the commercial stops were what kept the tour prices so low. I have to admit, Dr Tea really did have some cool stuff, including a $100 box of "aged" tea. Lucky for me I didn’t want any of his stuff.
