Grimbergen Blonde Ale

So what’s the very first thing that I normally do when I get home? I open the refrigerator and pull out a beer. This time I pulled out a Grimbergen Blonde Ale, mainly because I was saving the good stuff for later. Or so I thought. But the Grimbergen turned out to be a tasty surprise. The again, maybe it was the days and days and days out on the road without even a hint of a watery pilsner. Anyway, I liked the Grimbergen, even though I’m hardly partial to blonde ales. Anyway, BeerAdvocate rates it a 3,75/5.0 and RateBeer rates it a 3.25/5, neither anything to brag about. It is considered a Belgian Pale Ale with 6.70% ABV. Apparantly, I thought it was a little better than most people do.
