I’ve always felt that Thomas Jefferson was an incredibly talented indvidual. Then I read 1776 and John Adams by David McCullough along with Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow and I became a little less enchanted with Jefferson. Today, I have aged a little and I’m not the romantic I was as a younger man, but I’m even more impressed with Jefferson as a man. 09/2007
