My Kindle

Why buy a Kindle? For me it was a simple matter of the device being able to read books to me as I drive down the highway of economic prosperity in my big truck when I’m in America and working. That’s really the primary reason. Even though I went to college and did a little time in grad school, I don’t’ think I’m as well-read as I should be. To supplement my education I turn to sources like Project Gutenberg (33,000 free books) to help me become more literate. While on vacation, I’m also trying out the Kindle as a replacement for those heavy guidebooks that are a requirement for life on the road.
