So what am I going to do this summer? I hope I’m going to get a job. But, I’m not really having a lot of luck finding one, probably because I’m only willing to work a job that I see as one that will lead to me doing what I plan on doing in the future and that’s working on the web. I’d really like to find a great job. The only problem is I refuse to take one just to make money. There were times in my life when I didn’t have this luxury. All I can really say is that my life is a lot better now that I do have that luxury. I mean, here’s my choice – get a job or go on a three month trip wandering around the U.S. Most people would call that a no-brainer. The reason I’m not going to school this summer is that they close down my classes. There aren’t any. Sure, I could stay home and take a course or two outside of my program, but I just figure I’ll try to spend 3-5 hours everyday at a library or at a Starbucks trying to learn a few things while I’m moving around. It looks like the trip is going to run about 7-8,000 miles. Give or take. This is the first draft of where I want to go. I’ll narrow it down as time goes by. Or, maybe I’ll just play it by ear as I’m wandering around.
