It was a trip down memory lane for me. I was heading east on Oklahoma Highway 9 when I came to the town of Wetumka, a town of about 1,200 people. When I turned off to find a restroom I realized how close I was to Shawnee, Ok, a city of 30,000 people. I decided to visit Shawnee. It had been a while since I had been there. Oklahoma Tourism
I’ve hung around here long enough. It’s time to get out and get going. Tomorrow. I need one more day at home. If it wasn’t for a two-hour season finale of Elementrary I might have left today. Oklahoma 2013 – Eufaula
Eufaula, OK is a town in east central Oklahoma. It’s on State Highway 9. Highway 9 runs across Oklahoma from Texas to Arkansas about 20-40 miles south of Interstate 40. The state had no natural lakes at the time of statehood. Today it has been said to have more miles of shoreline than any other state. Continue reading
Tom Widney Last Request
