Carlsbad, New Mexico Street

First, I’d like to thank Frank A. Duck for sharing this photo with us. I like this photo. It looks like a thousand other American towns. I was doing some research on Carlsbad, NM as I plan to go there in a few of weeks. I’m going there to get out of the house, do a little camping, and see Carlsbad Caverns. The place is on my list of places to visit. The Hillman Wonders of the World website ranks it #44 of the top 100 wonders of the world. But I know I’m going to spend a little time in the town and a nice town it must be, looking at the pictures on Google Maps. It has a 24-hour Supercenter, all the basic fast food joints I need to keep me happy for a few days, and a place I want to check out called the No Whiner Diner. That should be fun. The town has a population of about 26K and it’s a county seat. Oh, did I mention it has some caverns located close by?
