End of the Trail 10-2008

It’s called End of the Trail and it’s done by James Earle Fraser. This one is located at the Gilcrease Museum in Tusal. The big one is at the Cowboy Hall of Fame in OKC and is really huge. The statue is symbolic of the recent history of Native Americans. It’s considered one of the classic pieces of western art. Behind me are the Osage Hills. I was born there.
