Europe 2005 Cardiff Football

Cardiff is the capital of Wales. Cardiff has a football team and the picture you see here is of the stadium, which is very close to the center of town. I don’t know a lot about football (soccer), but I do know that the people who are fans of the sport are fans just like any other sport. They get excited, they get rowdy and sometimes they get violent. I took this picture because I liked the look of the stadium, which is named Millennium Stadium. It seats around 75,000 fans, which I’d call a fair number of fans. I found my visit to Cardiff enjoyable and very Welsh. The people of Wales are very friendly and like to have a good time, evidenced by the fact that there must have been a hundred bars within easy walking distance of the stadium. 10/2005
