Intramuros

Intramuros is the old walled city of Manila. It comprises less than half a square mile of area. Here was where the Spanish originally set up their town of Manila. Inside Intramuros ("within the walls") is a city within a city. This is the most historic section of Manila and the section most frequented by tourist who visit the city.
