KKK

The KKK in the Philippines was the Katastaasang Kagalanggalangang Katipuanan which was a political organization founded in the 1890′s with the goal of gaining Philippine independence from Spain. Many people died in the struggle for independence and a statue was erected in their honor. The KKK in the Philippines is not the same as the KKK in the U.S.
