Sometimes I find a great campground and sometimes I don’t. I asked the Ranger for a recommendation for a campground. She told me that I could stop over at the one by the monument or drive on into the mountains. She said that driving into the mountains would lower the overnight temperature about 20 degrees. Brrrr…. The Roosevelt Lake Campground was great. I even got invited to a get-together but I was too tired to attend. I did grab a great shower at the park though. The campground cost me $3.00 a day.
