Lima Peru Building Up

It was a very large hill in Lima. What I first noticed about the hill was the very large cross on the top of the hill. This wasn’t unusual. There are many Christian monuments scattered all over South America. I took the picture primarily because it shows the houses built on the side of the hill. They build houses on hills all over South America. The Andes Mountains are significant geological formation on the continent. There are a lot of hills in South America and people build on them although they are courting disaster. Lima has had significant earthquake damage in its’ past.
