Once upon a time my wife and I went south for the winter. We stayed gone a few months. My goal was to try and convince her that we could sell the last remaining piece of property, buy a motorhome, and become snowbirds. After we got home, my wife informed me that we were never going to be snowbirds. That made me sad. But, I still have fantasies. On the way west I stopped at Quartzsite, AZ to do a little fantasizing about how cool it would be to Winter on BLM land. The picture on the left shows some campers on BLM land. The picture on the right is one of the many signs you can find on BLM property.
