Cape Hatteras Lighthouse 10-2008

Thisis part of my unplanned and unwanted North Carolina Tour in October.

No Tresspassing – La Fortuna, Costa Rica

This was where the point was that we weren’t supposed to cross. When I asked to guide why we were going to go to past where we weren’t supposed to go he just laughed and said "Silly Tourist."

On Tour – Granada, Nicaragua

We took a tour of Granada. It was a good tour. Our tour guide was from Houston, TX. Don’t ask.

Krakow – Salt Mine Chapel

The Salt Mine Tour was a wonderful experience. I went 400 feet underground and walked almost over a mile of the 180 miles of tunnels in the mine. From what I understand the mine goes down into the ground over a mile deep and was in continuous operation for over 700 years.

Krakow – Auschwitz Tour

That was our tour guide. Notice the cool hadphones that everyone is wearing. Nice, huh? We got to walk around on channel 3 and listen to her. Such devices take care of the problem of screaming children, adolescents and Chatty Cathies. The tour guide likes them because it reduces interaction. Who needs a bunch of tourists asking questions about a subject they know nothing about.
