Water Village – Brunei

This is the famous Water Village of Brunei. Or, at least part of it. The locals all tell me that their ancestors were water swellers and that the water village is simply an extension of their past. Sounds alittle hypothetical to me. What’s not hypothetical is that somewhere around 30,000 people are supposed to live there relatively rent-free, paying only utiltiies. Granted, these aren’t luxury villas, but they are unique. I guess, if you had the money, you could fix it up any way you wanted.
